Terms of Service

By downloading or using Ring Metrics (the “App”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. Use of the App

Ring Metrics is a personal productivity app that displays your Oura Ring health data as iPhone widgets. You may use the App only for lawful, personal, non-commercial purposes. You must be at least 13 years old to use the App.

2. Third-Party Services

The App connects to the Oura API to retrieve your health data. Your use of Oura's services is subject to Oura's Terms of Service. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Oura. We are not responsible for the availability or accuracy of data provided by the Oura API.

3. Apple App Store

The App is distributed through the Apple App Store. Your use of the App is also subject to Apple's App Store Terms of Service. Apple is not responsible for the App or its content.

4. Intellectual Property

All content, design, and code within the App and this website are owned by Jason Deng and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse engineer any part of the App without prior written permission.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranty of any kind. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any defects will be corrected. Health data displayed in the App is sourced from Oura and is provided for informational purposes only — it is not medical advice.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Jason Deng shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to loss of data or interruption of service. Our total liability for any claim related to the App shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the twelve months preceding the claim.

7. Privacy

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

8. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be resolved in the courts of competent jurisdiction in the United States.
