This Privacy Policy describes how Ring Metrics (“we”, “our”, or “us”) handles your information when you use our app and website (ringmetrics.app). We built Ring Metrics with privacy as a default — your health data stays on your device.

Information We Collect

App

Ring Metrics does not collect or transmit any personal data to external servers. All data processing happens locally on your device. Specifically:

• Your Oura Ring data is fetched directly from the Oura API v2 and processed entirely on-device.
• Your Oura OAuth token is stored securely in the iOS Keychain and is never sent to our servers.
• No health data, Oura scores, or personally identifiable information is transmitted to us.

Website

We do not use analytics, tracking scripts, or cookies on this website. No data is collected when you visit ringmetrics.app.

Third-Party Services

The app connects to the Oura API (ouraring.com) to retrieve your ring data. Your use of Oura's services is subject to Oura's Privacy Policy. We have no control over and assume no responsibility for their content or practices.

Data Storage & Security

All data is stored locally on your device. Authentication tokens are stored in the iOS Keychain. We do not operate any servers that store your personal or health data.

Your Rights

Because we do not collect or store your personal data, there is no data held by us to access, correct, or delete. To remove your Oura connection, you can revoke access at any time from within the app or through your Oura account settings. To remove all locally stored app data, delete the app from your device.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
